  • 250g glutinous rice flour
  • 60g white sugar
  • 240g pumpkin puree
  • White sesame
  • Oil


  • Peel the pumpkin and slice it and steam it in a steamer.
  • Stir the pumpkin and sugar into a blender and mix into a puree.
  • Add glutinous rice flour and knead the dough until smooth.
  • Knead the dough into strips. Divide the dough into 12 to 14 grams small doughs evenly.
  • Slightly dipped some water on one hand and smashed the dough into balls with both hands.
  • Put the sesame seeds in a fresh-keeping bag, put the dough balls and shake them to make a layer of sesame on the surface.
  • Heat a wok with oil until 150 °C/302°F. Fry the pumpkin ball until float on the oil surface. ( According to the situation, use a small heat, medium heat to switch fried pumpkin balls)
  • Use a spoon to squeeze the sesame balls into the oil and continue to fry for 7-8 minutes. Then, continue to fry them under middle heat for 40 seconds until the shell is slightly hard. Transfer and spread them on a plate. Serve.
